wallflowerbookclub: The Flaming Lips, Harvest Festival, 2011 I finally got to see the awesomeness of The Flaming Lips yesterday at the first Harvest Festival in Sydney. They are by far one of my favourite bands, and I’m so glad their set was as amazing as I’d anticipated. This was truly one of the most spectacular things I’ve ever seen.  I stood alone in the crowd and let the confetti and smoke rain down on me, and the beautiful music fill my ears and eyes and lungs. I hoped it wouldn’t end.
